      Market Overview

As of 14 July 2026, Bitcoin continues to consolidate within a broad corrective structure after recovering from June's lows. The market has entered a period of reduced momentum as investors weigh resilient institutional demand against the possibility that U.S. inflation may remain sticky enough to delay future monetary easing. While spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to hold substantial assets, recent inflows have slowed, reflecting a more cautious institutional approach. Risk assets remain highly sensitive to Treasury yield movements and macroeconomic surprises, causing Bitcoin to struggle whenever price approaches the $64,500–65,000 supply zone. Although the longer-term structure remains constructive, the short-term environment favors tactical trading as volatility compresses ahead of major economic releases.

      Market Sentiment

Market sentiment has shifted from optimistic to neutral. Large investors are no longer aggressively accumulating after the recent recovery, while short-term traders have increasingly taken profits near resistance. Open interest has remained relatively stable, suggesting that leverage is not excessively elevated, but neither are buyers demonstrating strong conviction to extend the rally. This balance between cautious institutional positioning and reduced speculative demand increases the probability of range-bound trading unless a significant macro catalyst emerges. If inflation data surprises on the upside, expectations for higher interest rates could strengthen the U.S. dollar and place renewed pressure on Bitcoin.

      Technical Analysis

Bitcoin Rejected Below $65K: Is BTC Ready for Another Leg Lower?_1
On the M15 timeframe, Bollinger Bands (20,0,2) are beginning to contract after the latest recovery, indicating declining volatility before the next impulsive move. Price has repeatedly failed to sustain closes above the upper band, suggesting bullish momentum is fading beneath resistance.
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (9,26,52) shows price remaining near the upper boundary of the Kumo. The Tenkan-sen has begun flattening while converging toward the Kijun-sen, reflecting weakening short-term momentum. The forward cloud remains positive but is becoming thinner, suggesting the bullish trend is losing strength and becoming vulnerable to a corrective pullback.
The Stochastic (5,3,3) has entered overbought territory and is beginning to produce a bearish crossover, often signaling exhaustion after a short-term rally. Immediate resistance is located between $64,500 and $65,000, while the first support lies near $62,800, followed by $61,500. As long as price remains below the recent swing high, the M15 structure favors a corrective decline toward lower support levels before buyers attempt another recovery.
