      Market Overview

Bitcoin has corrected from the $66,000–67,000 resistance area after failing to sustain bullish momentum during the previous week. The retracement has largely been driven by cautious positioning ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting rather than a deterioration in crypto fundamentals. Institutional ETF demand remains relatively resilient, while on-chain activity suggests long-term holders continue accumulating during periods of weakness rather than distributing holdings.
The macro environment remains the dominant driver. U.S. Treasury yields have stabilized, and investors are waiting for guidance regarding the Fed's outlook for the remainder of the year. Any indication of future monetary easing could reignite demand for digital assets, whereas a more hawkish stance would likely extend the current correction. As a result, $63,000 has become a critical technical and psychological support where buyers are expected to defend the market.

      Market Sentiment

Market sentiment has shifted from optimistic to cautiously constructive. Short-term traders have reduced leverage after the rejection at $66,000, while institutional investors continue viewing corrections as accumulation opportunities. Derivatives positioning indicates declining speculative long exposure, reducing liquidation risk and creating a healthier market structure.
Although volatility is expected to increase around this week's macro events, overall positioning does not suggest panic selling. Instead, investors appear focused on preserving capital until the Fed provides greater policy clarity.

      Technical Analysis

Bitcoin Defends $63,000: Is This the Foundation for the Next Bullish Leg?_1
On the M15 timeframe, Bollinger Bands (20,0,2) show price touching the lower band after several consecutive bearish candles. The bands remain moderately expanded, but downside momentum has begun slowing, suggesting selling pressure is becoming exhausted near $63,000.
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (9,26,52) shows price temporarily trading below the Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen while testing the lower boundary of the Kumo. However, the cloud ahead remains relatively flat rather than strongly bearish, indicating this decline is still consistent with a corrective move rather than the start of a larger downtrend. A recovery back above the Kijun-sen would strengthen the bullish outlook.
The Stochastic (5,3,3) has entered deep oversold territory and is beginning to turn upward, forming an early bullish crossover. This suggests bearish momentum is fading and buyers may regain control if support continues to hold. Immediate resistance is located at $64,800, followed by $66,000, while strong support remains at $62,200. As long as Bitcoin remains above this level, the M15 technical structure favors a recovery toward the upper Bollinger Band.
